Contract Front-End UI Developer Contract Opportunity Position: Front-End UI Developer Engagement: Hourly Contractor Location: Remote Work Type: Ongoing, Project-Based Focus Game UI Web Applications Mobile Interfaces About the Role We are seeking a versatile Front-End UI Developer who can build polished, highly visual, and responsive interfaces using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. This is a hands-on development role for someone who combines strong front-end engineering with excellent visual judgment. The work spans game-style interfaces, a responsive simulator launcher, mobile experiences, and web applications. The ideal contractor can take a concept or Figma design and turn it into production-ready UI that feels modern, animated, intuitive, and consistent across desktop, touchscreen, portrait, and landscape layouts. Responsibilities Build responsive, production-quality interfaces using HTML5, modern CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript. Create game-style menus, launch screens, overlays, dashboards, controls, and interactive visual components. Develop responsive UI for a simulator launcher that works in both portrait and landscape orientations. Create and refine mobile and web application interfaces using reusable components and shared design patterns. Implement transitions, animations, and interaction states that improve polish without sacrificing performance. Translate Figma designs, wireframes, and product requirements into maintainable front-end code. Integrate front-end experiences with APIs, authentication, real-time status, and existing applications. Work directly with product, design, and engineering stakeholders to iterate quickly and deliver usable increments. Maintain organized source code, documentation, and Git history. Required Experience Strong professional experience with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience building responsive interfaces for desktop, tablet, or touchscreen environments. Ability to create polished visual UI—not just traditional business websites or forms. Experience converting Figma (or similar) designs into production-ready interfaces. Understanding of responsive layouts, component architecture, browser compatibility, and accessibility. Comfortable working independently as an hourly contractor with estimates, timesheets, and regular communication. Portfolio or code samples demonstrating highly visual, interactive front-end work. Preferred Experience React TypeScript CSS animation, GSAP, or another modern motion library Canvas, SVG, PixiJS, Phaser, or similar HTML5 graphics technologies Game UI, launchers, kiosks, digital signage, sports products, or interactive entertainment Electron or another browser-based desktop application framework API integration, WebSockets, and real-time application state Mobile UI implementation or collaboration with mobile development teams Experience with Unity or Unreal UI workflows (helpful but not required) What Success Looks Like Interfaces look polished and intentionally designed rather than template-driven. Layouts adapt cleanly between portrait and landscape without requiring separate products. Components are reusable, maintainable, and easy for other developers to extend. Work is delivered in small, reviewable increments with reliable estimates and communication. Ability to balance visual quality, usability, technical constraints, and delivery speed. Engagement Details Hourly independent contractor engagement. Remote work with an agreed weekly hour limit based on active priorities. Ongoing work spanning game interfaces, responsive launcher development, mobile UI, and web applications. Initial paid trial assignment before expanding the engagement. Contractor must be comfortable signing confidentiality, work-for-hire, and intellectual property agreements.
