As the state’s federally designated organ recovery organization and an accredited tissue bank, we are dedicated to making a profound impact on countless lives.About The RoleAs an Organ Regulatory Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for reviewing, maintaining, and reporting accurate procurement data to support optimal organ and tissue donation outcomes, and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for organ and tissue services data. This position will assist with quality assurance reviews and the reporting of donation related outcomes to the appropriate transplant centers, tissue processors, external partners, regulatory bodies and accrediting bodies. The position includes reviewing patient files, including autopsy reports. A clinical background is required. Responsibilities include:Reviewing donor charts for accuracy and completeness to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and internal policies and procedures.Preparing and/or completing the organization, department and/or processor reports to provide timely and accurate information.Input and maintenance of required data entry into internal and/or external database systems to provide timely and accurate information to internal departments, regulatory bodies and/or Indiana Donor Network Leadership team.This role works primarily Monday through Friday during normal business hours at our offices near 38th and Guion Road. Some rotating call is required.Who We’re Looking ForSuccessful candidates will have bachelor’s degree in an applied science or related field; or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. Medical experience (such as an RN/LPN, Paramedic, RT, etc.) or organ and/or tissue procurement/certification experience is required.
