Located in Bethlehem, PA, this program provides essential care and support to unaccompanied migrant children as they navigate reunification and acclimation. You will work with children who have experienced trauma, loss, and major transitions, delivering culturally responsive and trauma-informed care that promotes safety, trust, and wellbeing.Shifts AvailableFull time and Part timeMiddle: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PMOvernight: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AMWeekends requiredQualificationsMinimum 1 year of paid experience working with children required.Experience Equivalency – We're Open to Transferable Skills! Don't have 1 year of paid childcare experience? You may still be a great fit. We welcome candidates with hands-on experience in care-focused roles, including:Direct Support Professionals (DSP)Experience supporting individuals with disabilitiesHome Health Aides (HHA)Personal Care Aides (PCA)Mental Health TechniciansMedical AssistantMust be 21 years of age or older.High school diploma or equivalent required.Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency—reading, writing, and speaking.Some college coursework preferred.Valid driver's license preferred.Basic computer skills required.Must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance and Child Abuse History Clearance (processed by KidsPeace).Must pass a physical and drug screening (covered by KidsPeace).Must complete all KidsPeace-sponsored training.ResponsibilitiesProvide supportive, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate supervision and guidance to children and adolescents.Maintain a strong commitment to the safety of youth, remaining attentive and responsive to all ongoing concerns and developments.About UsKidsPeace is a private charity committed to supporting the behavioral and mental health needs of children, families, and communities.
