The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in Breast Surgical Oncology and will work collaboratively under the supervision of our Breast Oncologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive Breast Oncology assessments including history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic studies.Manage patients at high risk for breast cancer and benign breast conditionsEvaluate and triage new patient referrals and follow-up visits.Order, Draw, and interpret genetic testing and diagnostic imagingDevelop and implement evidence-based treatment plans with collaborating physiciansSupport Breast Surgeons in routine post-operative managementProvide patient education on disease surveillance, lifestyle modifications, and medication managementAssist with hospital rounding, consults, and discharge planningParticipate in care coordination with other providers and specialties.Document all patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the Electronic Medical RecordMaintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practice standards.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner ProgramNational Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Certification (APRN) OR national board certification as a Physician Assistant.DEA LicenseCurrent Physician Assistant or APRN license in the State of Florida.BLS/ACLSPreferred SkillsCertification as an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse PractitionerExperience with Epic Electronic Medical RecordCompensation And BenefitsCompetitive salary based upon experienceHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance403(b) with employer matchPaid time off and CME allowanceMalpractice insurance coverageSupportive team environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.Our Commitment Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
