Senior Applications EngineerCode Red Partners is partnering with an established cybersecurity company trusted by some of the world's largest organizations to find and fix security risk before it can be exploited. Now they're turning that same rigor inward, rebuilding how the company itself operates by shifting from human-powered processes to data-driven, AI-powered, and human-led systems.This role sits on the Enterprise Data & AI team, the group that owns the data and systems infrastructure behind that transformation. Think autonomous AI agents handling routine work, centralized AI and data infrastructure built for leverage across the org, and enterprise applications wired together so the business can scale without simply adding headcount.About the RoleThis is a senior individual contributor role with technical lead responsibilities, based in Washington, DC or Seattle (hybrid). You'll be the technical lead driving the design and implementation of AI native systems that power how the company collaborates, communicates, and scales. You'll own complex, cross-functional initiatives that blend enterprise architecture, automation, and AI to streamline operations, reduce toil, and free people up for higher value work. You'll lead with first principles problem solving, stay agile through change, and use data to learn and adapt along the way. This is not a people management role.What You'll DoLead the end-to-end design and delivery of scalable, secure, and intelligent systems that support the company's transformation into an AI native organization.Develop, configure, and maintain Salesforce Sales Cloud, Workday, and other enterprise, GTM, and security applications to drive efficiency and scalability.Partner across business and engineering teams to identify high leverage opportunities for automation, integration, and system modernization.Drive the architecture and execution of platform level capabilities, using AI and modern tooling to reduce manual effort and improve decision making.Provide technical leadership to internal engineers and external development partners, ensuring design quality and long term maintainabiity.Shape incident and on-call response strategy, playbooks, and processes, building systems that fail gracefully and recover quickly.Act as a multiplier, mentoring other engineers and promoting a culture of innovation, curiosity, and continuous improvement.What We're Looking For8+ years in an engineering, systems, or similar role, with a proven track record leading the design, development, and deployment of enterprise systems.Extensive hands-on experience designing, building, configuring, integrating, and maintaining systems across Salesforce, Workday, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, Zoom, GitHub, GitLab, GCP, AWS, and similar platforms.Experience with SSO protocols (SAML, OIDC, SCIM), enterprise identity tools such as Okta, and MDM platforms such as Kandji.Experience building integrations and automations using tools like Workato andTinesA track record of substantial, company-wide impact and comfort solving ambiguous problems in a fast-moving environment.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven narratives in written, verbal, and presentation formatsAbout Code Red PartnersAt Code Red Partners, we're deeply committed to working with equal-opportunity employers and helping to build a diverse and inclusive workforce.
