Accounting Billing Clerk
The Accounting Billing Clerk will perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties for use in maintaining accounting records. The billing clerk position is accountable for creating invoices and credit memos, issuing them to customers by all necessary means, and updating customer files. Solves problems and recommends changes in procedure in accordance with previous training or experience; may also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other employees. Work is performed under general supervision of an accountant or other administrative superior; however, the employee is expected to exercise independent judgment and discretion within the limits of established procedures.
