Teaches members independent and community living skills, such as housekeeping, shopping, meal preparation, and personal hygiene as well as the development of functional, interpersonal, and coping skills. Responsible for creating a safe, clean, and inviting atmosphere for members. Keeps the residence neat and clean at all times. Advises supervisor, team leader, or other designee of any maintenance problems and issues. Supports and promotes member self-advocacy and participation in planning, decision-making, and treatment. Identifies risk factors related to relapse and develops relapse prevention plans and strategies. Monitors and documents self-administration of medication in keeping with Thresholds’ standards. Assures that all Thresholds records are organized. Follows all appropriate safeguards with regard to confidential files.
