Video Editor (Remote) Job Type: Part-Time / Contract Location: Remote Compensation: $1,600–$1,800 per month About Us We are a growing YouTube content brand focused on creating lifestyle, challenge, entertainment, and personality-driven videos. Our goal is to produce engaging, high-retention content that keeps viewers watching and coming back for more. We're looking for a creative and dependable Video Editor who understands YouTube storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement. Position Overview As our Video Editor, you will edit 4 YouTube videos per week using footage and creative direction provided by our team. You'll be responsible for turning raw footage into entertaining, fast-paced videos that keep viewers engaged. The ideal candidate understands how to edit for YouTube by using strong storytelling, engaging pacing, sound design, music, graphics, captions, zooms, and visual effects to maximize audience retention. Responsibilities Edit and deliver 4 high-quality YouTube videos each week Create engaging edits for lifestyle and challenge-based content Add captions, motion graphics, sound effects, music, memes, transitions, zooms, and visual effects when appropriate Color correct footage and improve audio quality Maintain a consistent editing style that aligns with our brand Organize project files efficiently Complete revisions promptly based on feedback Meet weekly deadlines while communicating effectively Qualifications Experience editing YouTube content, especially lifestyle, entertainment, challenge, or creator-focused videos Strong understanding of YouTube viewer retention and storytelling Proficiency with one or more of the following: Adobe Premiere Pro DaVinci Resolve Final Cut Pro CapCut Or similar professional editing software Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently Excellent communication and time management skills Portfolio showcasing previous editing work Compensation & Benefits $1,600–$1,800 per month Fully remote Consistent weekly workload Opportunity for long-term growth and increased responsibilities Work with a growing YouTube brand Application Requirements To be considered, please submit: Your resume A portfolio or link to previous editing work One edited YouTube-style video (1–3 minutes) showcasing your editing skills.
