CDL Driver

Job Summary : This position is responsible for the loading/unloading and hauling of materials needed to be taken to the job. This position works with the project managers and foreman required for getting the necessary equipment to jobs. Must be able to work some weekends.Duties & ResponsibilitiesReceive directions daily and transport materials to jobs.Accurately complete required documentation to include charging materials to jobsLoad, transport and unload materials and equipment to be used on jobs.InventoryKeep trucks clean and maintainedRigging and typing down loadsAvailable to work overtime when requiredPhysical & Mental DemandsAbility ToSit, stand and walk up to 10 hours per dayClimb stairs, ladders and scaffoldsWork up to 10 hours per dayWear safety glasses, hardhat, hearing protection and other protective equipment as necessaryConvey information to other employeesPerform record keeping dutiesEncourage good safety habitsEnforce safety rulesEnforce company and customer policiesHave and maintain a valid driver’s licenseQualificationsHigh school diploma/GEDClass B driver’s license in good standingNO serious tickets or accidents in last 5 yearsNO DWI/DUI in last 10 years2+ years’ commercial driving experience requiredPrefer knowledge of local area
