IntroductionThis position involves performing various essential tasks within the laboratory environment, including handling samples, operating equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of lab processes. The role is ideal for individuals with a background in fast-paced, high-volume work environments.Required Skills & QualificationsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), material safety data sheets (MSDSs), operating and maintenance instructions, government rules, and technical procedures.Ability to prioritize and multi-task.Strong initiative and follow through.Attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as a team contributor.Must demonstrate a high level of customer service.Good computer skills: Client Office and SAP preferred.Prior work experience at a similar company or in a related industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & QualificationsExperience in a high-volume laboratory setting such as LabCorp or Quest.Background in Vet Tech or Vet Assisting with fulfillment or food service experience.Recent Biology degree with fast-paced work history.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesCheck in couriers and manage sample intake processes.Unbag, barcode, and move samples around the lab.Load samples into analyzers and centrifuges.Handle and process samples with necessary chemicals and equipment.Maintain samples from refrigerated storage areas.For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
