Register and discover electronic material in accordance with company policy and procedures.Evaluate, assess functionality of equipment or components using provided equipment / company web-based software, troubleshoot and repair when economically justified and within company guidelines.Evaluate electronic components using provided equipment / software.Ensure to work with / use security measures, procedures and devices as required.Assess functionality of electronic componentsCapable of identifying issues and informing the supervisorWork Approaches:Routinely interacts with employees within own department and outside the department. Be respectful towards all employees, visitors, and vendors.Background check:No felony convictions in the last 24 months.No felony convictions in the last seven years for any crime involving theft, fraud, burglary, or larceny.Minimum Qualifications:Must clear a fit for work physically and mentally.Able to use hand truck, pallet jack, various hand tools, etc.Must be able to stand for long periods of time at IT processing workstation.Education/Experience:High School diploma or equivalent requiredSpecialized skills in computer technology desiredA+ computer software certification or equivalent is preferred.Reliable transportation is a must Basic understanding of electronic hardware (computers, printers, servers, monitors) required.Job specific training in identification and classification of electronic devices and components a PLUSIT hardware technician experience (Troubleshooting, disassembly and assembly) is a major PLUS.Compensation:$19.00 per hourWork shift: Job Type: Full-timeLocation:Richardson, TexasWork authorization:United States (Required)
