Software Engineer III – AI Platform & Developer EnablementLocation: Greenwood Village, CO (Hybrid- 4 days on-site, 1 day remote) Duration: W2 Contract Compensation: $60-$65/hour+ DOEOverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to support a high-visibility AI Developer Enablement and Platform Engineering team with our Fortune 500 client. This team is focused on building internal AI tooling and workflows used by thousands of developers across the enterprise.This role combines full stack engineering, AI tooling/platform development, developer productivity, and strategic collaboration. The team owns internal AI enablement platforms, reusable agent workflows, analytics/reporting dashboards, and developer tooling marketplaces that help engineering teams scale AI-assisted development.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and enhance internal AI developer tooling and workflow platformsDevelop reusable AI agent harnesses, workflows, and integrationsBuild dashboards, reporting portals, and backend data aggregation servicesCollaborate with engineering teams to understand AI tooling usage and best practicesContribute to AI workflow strategy, platform direction, and developer enablement effortsWork across frontend, backend, and platform engineering initiativesPartner with stakeholders to improve developer productivity and AI adoptionParticipate in architecture discussions, testing, and implementation planningRequired Qualifications5+ years of software engineering experienceStrong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScriptFull stack engineering experience building applications, platforms, or internal toolsHands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Amazon Q, or similarUnderstanding of AI workflows, context engineering, custom agents, prompts, or developer productivity toolingExperience building APIs, dashboards, reporting systems, or backend integrationsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work in highly cross-functional, fast-moving environmentsPreferred ExperienceExperience with internal developer platforms or enablement toolingExperience with analytics, telemetry, or data aggregation/reporting systemsFamiliarity with enterprise governance/security considerationsPersonal AI projects, GitHub experimentation, or custom AI workflowsCompensation$60-$65/hour + DOE EEO Statement:Brooksource is an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on thebasis of actual or perceived race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry,citizenship status, age, sex or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, lactationand related medical conditions), gender identity or gender expression, sexualorientation, marital status, military service and veteran status, physical or mentaldisability, protected medical condition as defined by applicable state or local law,genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal,state, or local laws and ordinances.
