We're proudly celebrating our 95th anniversary this year!We have a great opportunity to join our Hudson, WI Team as a Box Truck Delivery Driver. This role is Monday- Friday, 4am-12:00pm. Drivers increase operational efficiency, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by providing on-time delivery services according to the mission and culture of JHL. Deliveries are accurate and dropped off at the customer's preferred address. Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and best practices for safety while on the roadLoad trucks for deliveryPerform basic truck maintenance such as refueling, making visual inspections, and reporting potential issues. Keep trucks clean and organizedCommunicate with team members, branch manager, and/or customers as needed regarding delivery status, instructions and issues. Work in a team environment to ensure efficient operationsComplete paperwork and reports related to deliveries as neededPick, fill, and pack orders on a timely basis to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries including picking pipe and wire cutting when applicable. Safely utilize power equipment when necessary to fulfill orders and restock warehouse shelvesMaintain accurate inventory managementQualificationsEducationHighschool diploma or GEDExperience and/or Training1 year working in a team environment1 year experience driving a commercial vehicle, including in snow and ice conditionsStrong verbal communication skills for interacting with team members.Ability to interact with customers/coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, punctual and reliable.Ability to work safely and accurately, in all weather conditionsStrong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication) and reading skills2+ years driving a commercial vehicle preferredUp-to-date Federal Medcard preferred2+ years in a warehouse setting, working with power equipment, an RF scanner, wire cutting, and pulling orders preferredLicenses/CertificationsValid Driver's licenseClean driving recordPass the DOT physicalNo CDL requiredWe are committed to providing salary ranges for open positions.
