📍 Job Title: Sterile Processing / Instrument ProcessingProfession: Surgical ServicesSpecialty: Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)Location: Jacksonville, FLStart Date: ASAPContract: 13 WeeksShift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:45 PM–7:15 AM/ Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:15 PM🔧 Job Responsibilities:Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packaging, sterilization, storage, and distribution of reusable surgical instruments and equipment.Reprocess reusable surgical equipment, instrumentation, and scopes according to manufacturer guidelines.Maintain inventory and storage of processed sterile supplies.Support the surgical team and sterile core.Work under the supervision of Central Service Team Leaders and the Central Service Supervisor.Collaborate with the operating room team to support surgical and procedural areas.✅ Required:Minimum 1 year of instrumentation experienceBasic computer knowledgeGood interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to establish effective working relationshipsAbility to give and receive constructive feedbackHigh school diploma or GEDCRCST or CBSPD certification required by managerPreferred:1 year of instrumentation experience in a hospital settingSuccessful completion of a Central Service vocational program🎓 Certification:Central Service Technician certification is required within one year of hire.Manager specifically requires CRCST or CBSPD.If this position aligns with your experience, please share your updated resume.
