Unarmed Security OfficerPart Time Shifts Available - Pay Rate: $23/hr.The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for day-to-day security operations at client facilities. Officers serve as the primary contact point for clients, ensuring adherence to Post Orders and reporting violations of security policy or procedure.Key Responsibilities* Provide security support and guidance to clients and staff* Ensure compliance with Post Orders and directives* Monitor and report violations or suspicious activities, including:* Access control procedures* Credential/access ID usage* Unauthorized presence in restricted areas* Deviations from approved patrol routes* Unauthorized photography, recording, or removal of assets* Support internal security team operations (situational awareness, threat/risk monitoring)* Assist with desk operations (watch operations)* Prepare clear, concise written reportsCandidate Qualifications* U.S. Citizen, 21+ years of age* High school diploma or GED required* Valid State Guard Card* Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record* 2+ years of related experience (Security, Law Enforcement, Military, or similar)* Customer/client engagement experience* Preferred: experience in threat intelligence collection and reporting* Strong communication and customer service skills* Ability to engage professionally with VIPs and special visitorsPhysical Requirements* Ability to walk premises-including outdoor areas-and climb multiple flights of stairs during patrols* Ability to lift, drag, and carry 50 pounds or more as needed for operational duties or emergenciesTechnical Skills* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel* Ability to create temporary badges for visitors and employeesScheduling & Flexibility* Must be flexible with 24-48-hour schedule changes due to weather or safety conditionsCustomer Service Expectations* Must be able to professionally engage with: Public visitors, Clients and special guests, Client employees, Fellow staff members
