If you're passionate about pediatric trach and vent care and want to make a difference for children and their families, we want to hear from you!Key responsibilities include providing care based on licensure/certification within the scope of practice, maintaining updated clinical records, evaluating the effectiveness of nursing service, consulting with physicians, mentoring new employees, educating patients and caregivers, participating in quality assurance programs, continually improving nursing care skills, attending mandatory training, submitting required personnel file documentation, adhering to compliance and ethics expectations, maintaining patient and family confidentiality, and performing other duties as assigned.Education and experience required include an LPN/LVN nursing degree, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of employment, one year of demonstrated experience, valid driver license with proof of insurance, clear background screening, working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts, valid and current CPR card/certificate, clear Hep B screening, and clear TB screening.Preferred state-specific requirements include additional background screening for Pennsylvania, and specific requirements for Florida and Illinois.Key competencies include the ability to read and communicate in English both verbally and in writing.Working conditions include performing work in the patient's home, lifting up to thirty-five pounds without an assisted lifting device, and frequent use of office machines.This job description is an overview of the duties and responsibilities assigned to the role.
