End Client: MedNet Duration: 6 months Note: Candidate should be from Healtech Domain and with longterm projectsThis position will provide day to day support with the team toward "keep the lights on" work as well as support the build out of new instances of our on-prem environment to support contract growth. Our teams currently have multiple asks to build 3 additional instances of MedNet on-prem, while supporting the existing MedNet 1 & 2 instances and will need additional staff to support these requests and attempt to meet deadlines. This position will be responsible for updating documentation, requesting server builds based off of server specification requirements, configuring pre-code deployment IIS settings, deploying code, and troubleshooting issues that may occur post-deployment within the new environment.ResponsibilitiesSetup, install, configure and maintain build infrastructureCreate and maintain build and deployment scriptsMaintain source control branchesPerform periodic builds and deployments to production environmentPerform manual code merges and deploy partial releases and patchesWork with other IT teams to review pre-release checklists and coordinate activities to be performed prior to, during and post releases by othersWork with other IT teams to perform troubleshooting and resolution of build and deployment issues in sprint and during releases related to deployment targets, databases, certificates, permissions, firewall changes, IIS configurations and any other system and network dependenciesWork with Development teams and participate in troubleshooting high priority application related issues after releasesConfigure and maintain application settings and credentialsPerform administration of Azure DevOps Servers including regular maintenance, user management and securityDesign and implement policies for managing source code within ADO and Git, including branching, merging and tagging policies to support frequent releases, concurrent development, and partial fixesCreate and maintain documentation of the build and release processesDevelop metrics and reporting for build and release tasksInvestigate, evaluate, propose and implement new tools or processes to improve the reliability, stability and efficiency of the build and deployment pipelinesRequired Job QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceAt least 2 years of experience working within a DevOps Engineering roleIntermediate knowledge of cloud infrastructure services, specifically with Azure2+ years of experience with Docker or other containerization technologies2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools and platforms such as Azure DevOps, Argo, and Flux.Experience supporting 24×7, high availability application environments that include web, application and database servers and load balancing systems.Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft SQL server and relational databasesDemonstrated experience working in a fast paced, large scale Agile/Scrum development environmentEquivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience will be consideredPreferredExperience with CI using tools such as Azure DevOps, YAML, Task Agent, or PoolsExperience with hosting.NET applications, Windows Forms, Web Services, RESTful APIs, Single Page Application, Micro Services.Experience working with Container technologies like Docker, KubernetesExperience with Object Oriented Programming conceptsExperience leveraging AI tools in the software development lifecycle in order to improve quality & efficiency.
