The Role We’re looking for a Controller & Client Success Manager who can own the financial engine and lead the member experience. This role blends clean accounting, sharp operational follow-through, and high-trust communication. Growth Circle runs 4–6 specialized tax deals per year. You’ll quarterback each deal from onboarding to close: coordinating partners, tracking progress in the CRM, and keeping members informed and confident at every step — while ensuring our internal books, payroll, and reporting stay spotless and scalable. What You’ll Do Be the Client Liaison Serve as the primary point of contact for members participating in tax strategy deals Guide clients through each deal step-by-step with clear communication and strong follow-through Make high-level financial strategies feel simple, structured, and easy to execute Coordinate with partners, providers, and internal teams to keep deals moving smoothly Run the Numbers (Controller Responsibilities) Manage QuickBooks (keeping accounts clean, categorized, and accurate) Oversee payroll, contractor payments, and financial admin processes Master the CRM + Client Tracking Keep the CRM fully updated across leads, members, deals, and progress tracking Create systems so no client or deal ever falls through the cracks Track pipeline status for active tax strategies and deal timing Maintain clean notes, next steps, and accountability across hundreds of members Understand the Big Picture of Investment + Tax Deals You don’t need to be a CPA — but you do need to understand the backend of investment and tax strategies well enough to explain them in plain English Translate technical concepts into actionable steps clients can follow Spot bottlenecks and proactively solve problems before they become issues Who You Are Financially sharp and confident operating inside accounting and deal workflows A strong communicator who can build trust quickly and keep people calm and clear Highly organized and detail-obsessed — systems and follow-up are your superpower Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment The type of person who can “jump off cliffs and build the parachute on the way down” — without dropping the ball Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person
