Location: Grass Valley, CAPosition Type: Locum Physician OBGYN Overview A hospital in Grass Valley is seeking OBGYN physicians for weekend call coverage . The role includes deliveries, C-sections, and emergency call for OBGYN cases. This position supports a dedicated Family Birthing Center with its own C-section OR. Practice Highlights • Weekend call coverage with urgent dates starting December • Average deliveries per month (may go up to 40)• Duties include deliveries, C-sections, and ED call • Work on a dedicated L&D floor with its own operating room• EMR: Cerner • Strong support team: anesthesiology, pediatrics, general surgery, RTs, and local OBGYNs Candidate Requirements • Board Certified or BE OBGYN (within 5 years) • Active CA medical license Required • DEA required during credentialing • Must provide recent case logs (24 months)• Must meet experience requirements for deliveries and GYN procedures• Clean malpractice preferred• Must be available at time of name clear Schedule & Coverage • Weekend call coverage 24-hour shifts • Urgent dates include: Dec Jan 5 11, Jan , Jan Feb , Feb March • Average callback: 4 6 hours• Credentialing: Minimum 10 days with complete application• Proctoring applies for new privileges (deliveries & GYN cases) Why Grass Valley, CA?
