This is a fully lab-based role requiring strong hands-on experience in formulation preparation, analytical testing, stability studies, and laboratory documentation within a biologics or pharmaceutical R&D environment.The ideal candidate should possess practical laboratory expertise, strong analytical and documentation capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional scientific team.Core Essential Skill SetsMinimum 3 years of experience required in the following areas:Background in:BiologicsPharmaceutical SciencesBiochemistryChemical EngineeringOr related scientific disciplinesHands-on laboratory experience in:Biologics formulation developmentAnalytical characterizationRelated pharmaceutical laboratory workExperience working with common laboratory techniques and analytical instruments used in biologics/pharmaceutical developmentStrong documentation, reporting, and data analysis skillsAbility to work independently while effectively collaborating within a cross-functional laboratory environmentPrior industry experience in biologics or pharmaceutical R&D is preferredScope of Work / Key ResponsibilitiesThe contractor will support core laboratory and documentation activities, including but not limited to:Formulation & Sample PreparationPreparation of formulation buffers and protein drug product samplesExecution of formulation screening studiesAnalytical & Characterization SupportPerform routine characterization and analytical testing for:Liquid biologic drug productsLyophilized biologic drug productsAnalytical techniques may include:Chromatographic testsElectrophoretic testsBiophysical testsStability & Study SupportStability study sample preparationStability sample pulls and trackingSupport in-use and compatibility study preparation activitiesDocumentation & Data ManagementAnalytical sample coordination and data organizationDocument experimental data following:Applicable laboratory proceduresCurrent documentation practicesMaintain best practices for:Knowledge managementData management in ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook)Reporting & General Lab SupportContribute to technical reports as neededProvide general laboratory support aligned with:DPD workflowsEHS (Environmental Health & Safety) requirementsPreferred Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have:Strong hands-on biologics/pharmaceutical laboratory experienceExperience supporting formulation and analytical development activitiesFamiliarity with stability studies and sample managementExperience maintaining scientific documentation in ELN systemsExcellent organizational and collaboration skillsAbility to thrive in a regulated laboratory environment
