As a result, their infrastructure has become a core part of their defensibility—not just an enabler.They are now hiring aHead of DevOpsto scale that advantage.The Opportunity This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, product, and AI. You will be responsible for building and leading a DevOps and platform engineering function that directly impacts product performance and customer outcomes. You will define the strategy and execution across cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and high-performance compute, ensuring the platform continues to scale efficiently and reliably under increasing demand.Responsibilities Own and evolve the company’s DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering strategy Architect and scale highly available, performant, and cost-efficient infrastructure for AI workloads Lead, hire, and develop a high-performing DevOps and platform team Drive best practices across CI/CD, observability, reliability, and security Manage and optimise multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) Implement and standardise infrastructure-as-code and automation (e.g. Terraform, Kubernetes) Partner closely with ML and engineering teams to optimise model training, deployment, and inference pipelines Enable rapid experimentation and deployment while maintaining system stability and uptimeRequirements Proven experience leading DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering teams in high-growth technology companies Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture and distributed systems Strong experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code Background supporting data-intensive or AI/ML-driven platforms is strongly preferred Track record of scaling systems and teams through periods of rapid growth Ability to operate both strategically and hands-onWhy This Role Infrastructure is a core driver of product differentiation and company value Backed by a leading Silicon Valley VC with significant runway Opportunity to shape the technical foundation of a rapidly scaling AI business High-impact leadership role with direct influence on engineering and product outcomes
