Job TypeFull-timeDescription$23 per hour plus OT to start, with an increase after completion of introductory period.The CDL Asphalt Crew Member position performs a variety of routine and complex transportation and physical labor tasks. This position will spend approximately 20% driving and 80% assisting other crewmen by operating a variety of hand/power tools and heavy machinery to clean and prepare sites, apply pavement preservation products, and setup/remove cones and carpet.Essential FunctionsLoads/unloads trucks, and hauls materials to the job site.Performs strenuous manual labor in preparing surfaces for pavement repair and maintenance.Conducts pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.Works with team members to apply pavement preservation products such as seal coat and HA5 high-density mineral bond.Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.Complies with all safety, OSHA, and DOT regulations.Performs other functions as assigned.Salary Description
