SyBridge is based in Southfield, Michigan and has 20 locations throughout North America, Europe and Asia.Position SummaryIn support of the Mission, Vision and Values of SyBridge Technologies Group of Companies, the CNC Programmer/Machinist (Lathe) is responsible for the daily operations, to include the set-ups, programming, maximizing of the machine utilization, as well as the unattended time. In this role, the CNC Machinist (Lathe) reports to the Job Leader as well as the General Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesAbility to program live tooling and subspindlesUse tools and machinery provided; program, setup and operate the lathe machines using MasterCAM softwareMaximizing machine utilization and unattended timeFollow router plan (work with manufacturing on any changes)Inspection paperwork filled out, verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure first time qualityRecord and report all errors and out of tolerance deviations to manufacturing Job LeaderSchedule preventative maintenanceMonitor tool inventoryTraining and motivationCleanliness of areaAssist Manufacturing Engineer/ Job Leader in planning out routers when neededTravel when required by SybridgeMandatory overtime when and if required by SybridgeProficiency in reading and understanding quality manuals and proceduresQualificationsEight (8) years of related experience with CNC LathesFour (4)- Five (5) years of related experience with MasterCAM or equivalent programmingCertification, college degree, high school diploma and/or equivalent experience in Mold Manufacturing environmentAbility to multitask using multiple machinesAbility to perform under pressure and work independentlyAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as requiredAbility to ensure quality standards are metStrong attention to detail is requiredStrong leadership, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skillsProficient in time management and communication skillsSyBridge Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of any kind.
