In addition, this person provides support and professional learning to school staff, paraprofessionals, and parents/guardians, with respect to behavior intervention techniques, conducting assessments, and developing behavior intervention plans.\nActs as liaison with the public and mental health community for the purpose of supporting individual student development goals.\nAdministers programs and services for behaviorally or emotionally disturbed students.\nAssists with student crisis intervention, developing interventions, functional behavior assessments and behavior plans.\nCollaborates with school personnel, agencies, and families in coordinating individualized services for students.
