At GEA, we're not just building equipment, we're building lasting careers with an average employee tenure range from 5 to over 11+ years, reflecting the strong culture, growth opportunities, and support we provide.Roles and Responsibilities: Perform pipe welding, including Mig, Pulse, and Tig, with the ability to qualify in a 6G test.Read and interpret blueprints accurately to meet project specifications.Execute fabrication tasks such as cutting and fitting with precision.Perform assembly tasks following high-specification drawings and work instructions.Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety regulations.Maintain excellent organizational skills to keep workstations clean and orderly.Utilize hand and power tools with precision and efficiency.Follow safety guidelines and adhere to company policies.Train and support team members as needed.Complete tasks within designated deadlines, even in high-pressure situations.Adapt and function well in a high-paced and occasionally stressful environment.Your Profile / Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.Certified vocational degrees preferred.At least 1+ year of experience in Welding, Fabrication and/or Assembly experienceLean training/certification is an asset.Expertise in pipe welding (Mig, Pulse, Tig) and ability to pass a 6G test preferred.Proficiency in blueprint reading.Strong understanding of high-spec assembly drawings.Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.Comprehension of safety protocols and procedures.Ability to sit, stand, reach, and walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods.Capacity to lift/carry up to 50 lbs may be required.Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate tools and machinery.Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, if required.The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $21.00 - $33.00 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
