We are dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for a variety of projects.Salary Range: $142,000 - $153,000Location: Onsite (Los Angeles, CA)Type: Full-TimeEmployee Benefits:100% paid base coverage (Health, Vision, & Dental insurance).401(k)Paid HolidaysPaid SickPaid VacationEAP - Employee Assistance ProgramO2EPCM, Inc. https://o2epcm.com/Position: PROJECT MANAGER II (TDIP Assistant Project Manager - MEPF)Salary Range: $142,000 - $153,000Location: Onsite (Los Angeles, CA)Type: Full-TimeSynopsisThe TDIP Assistant Project Manager (MEPF) reports to the assigned Senior Project Manager and isresponsible for managing the scope, schedule, and operational interfaces of mechanical, electrical,plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF) and specialty systems design and construction activitieswithin an assigned Terminal Development and Improvement Program (TDIP) project.TDIP is a major capital program focused on delivering projects that modernize LAX passengerterminals to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, safety, and system reliabilityacross the airport.Position Description SummaryThe TDIP Assistant Project Manager (MEPF) manages the technical scope, cost, schedule, andperformance of MEPF systems and building infrastructure throughout design and construction.This role ensures the development and implementation of design coordination, installation, andturnover plans, while proactively managing risks associated with MEPF system installation, startup,and operational impacts to existing facilities.Key Identifiers for the Position• Project manager and technical leader with strong MEPF experience in active operationalenvironments• Proven ability to manage complex building systems within budget and scheduleconstraints• Strong stakeholder engagement skills for technical coordination across MEPF and specialtysystems• In-depth knowledge of MEPF design standards, codes, commissioning, and systemperformanceExperience across the full MEPF lifecycle (concept through turnover)Experience with system integration (BAS, power, HVAC, life safety, controls)Ability to develop performance metrics and executive reporting indicatorsExperience coordinating with operations and maintenance teamsAbility to lead multidisciplinary teams (designers, contractors, operators, etc.)Essential Job DutiesServe as primary technical liaison for MEPF systemsManage MEPF design scope and ensure alignment with operational requirementsLead procurement and technical evaluation of consultants, contractors, and vendorsOversee installation, testing, startup, and commissioning activitiesDevelop and manage budgets, schedules, and resource plansCoordinate with stakeholders to minimize operational disruptionsIdentify and resolve technical, constructability, and integration challengesConduct field investigations and infrastructure assessmentsMaintain documentation for design criteria, submittals, testing, and commissioningrecordsReview and respond to RFIs, submittals, and technical change proposalsOversight Responsibilitieso Mechanical and electrical codeso Fire and life safety systemso Energy and sustainability standardso Airport operational requirementso Coordinate system shutdowns, tie-ins, and phasing planso Evaluate contractor performance and approve pay applicationso Prepare technical progress and readiness reports• Closeout Responsibilitieso As-built documentationo O&M manualso Training coordinationo Warranty trackingHardware/Software KnowledgeMicrosoft Office Suite, BluebeamBuilding Automation Systems (BAS)Electrical power monitoring systemsHVAC and control interfacesFire alarm and life safety systemsRevit / BIM coordination toolsProfessional Experience Level/Other Qualifications10+ years managing MEP systems design and constructionExperience with large-scale infrastructure (airport experience preferred)Demonstrated coordination of MEPF and controls systemsExperience supporting commissioning and system turnover• Technical Knowledgeo HVAC systemso Electrical distributiono Plumbing and utilitieso Fire protection/life safety systemso Building automation and controls• Delivery Methods Experienceo Design-Bid-Buildo CMARo Design-BuildEducation/Training• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management,Planning or other related technical field (required)Master's degree (preferred)Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc. or any other relevantprofessional licensure and/or certificationsElement-Specific Requirements/NotesMay assume other duties as required/neededMaybe required to work past regular work shiftMaybe required to work various shifts as neededLAWA will provide a desktop computer that can be VPN'd intoConsultant MUST have a company-provided laptop computer.
