This role is part of the Design Services organization focusing on providing library IP solutions, including standard cells, memories, and I/O’s, and other design collateral to the entire company. We work in a highly collaborative environment, collaborating with design teams throughout the company in a dynamic environment where innovation is encouraged and rewarded.Responsibilities:Develop IP characterization and design view generationScript development for automationRe-package and coordinated release of third-party IPRequired Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 5+ years of industry experience; or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 3+ years of industry experience; or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Extensive experience with spice simulations and Verilog modelingBasic Understanding of CMOS devices including fabrication processBasic Understanding of VLSI and APR flowWorking experience in Perl or Python and shell scriptingUnderstanding of a typical analog design flow and tools for schematic entry, simulation and layoutExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Skills and Qualifications:Experience in mixed signal circuit layoutTCL and Skill coding nice to haveFamiliarity with industry RTL compilersFamiliarity with industry place and route toolsFamiliarity with running DRC and LVSExperience with standard cells and SRAM memory compilersApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.Export control restrictions based upon applicable laws and regulations would prohibit candidates who are nationals of certain embargoed countries from working in this position without Cirrus Logic first obtaining an export license.
