Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver

Purpose of PositionThe Warehouse Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of products to Ethos customers and company-owned stores throughout the designated delivery territory. This role supports daily warehouse operations when not performing deliveries by assisting with picking, packing, receiving, and product handling. The position also serves as a front-line representative of the company, providing professional service during deliveries and supporting store operations with basic maintenance, product movement, and display setup as needed to ensure efficient operations and a positive customer experience.Position SummaryDeliver orders to customers and Ethos stores throughout the Ethos Territory using the company delivery van. Territories can and will include local, Philadelphia (city and surrounding area), Delaware, north New Jersey, central New Jersey, south New Jersey and other areas as the business continues to grow. Not all areas are delivered to each day. When not making deliveries on certain days or upon return from making deliveries, this position will work in a support role within the warehouse which can and will include, picking, packing, receiving dock, product breakdown and other areas as needed. Be able to represent the company in a professional manner. At times assist company stores with minor repairs (change light bulbs, fix a shelf and other basic repairs), move product within the store, set up displays plus other functions as the need arises.Essential Job Functions & ResponsibilitiesParticipate in safety programs, comply with company safety rules & work with “safety first” behavior.Deliver to customers in a courteous, pleasant and professional manner.Have customers sign paperwork that delivery was made, collect COD’s and hand in paperwork in a prompt, neat and organized manner each day upon return to the warehouse.Ensure that delivery van is kept clean on a daily basis.Ensure that delivery van is inspected each day and can be operated in a safe manner prior to going on the road. Hand in daily copy of the “Driver’s Daily Inspection Report”.Operate company van in a safe and courteous manner at all times.Responsible for safe keeping of the company card while in possession; signing out company card to purchase gas and sign back in when complete. Communicate with supervisor or manager if delivery cannot or was not made in a timely manner so that the customer may be advised.Ensure that company van is locked at all times while making deliveries or away from the vehicle.Ensure orders, materials and equipment needed to make deliveries are loaded prior to leaving the warehouse.At times, make pickups at various locations for the companyAs stated in position summary, work in the warehouse in various positions when not making deliveries or upon return from making deliveries.Key Personal AttributesDemonstrates strong teamwork, accountability, and initiative.Able to lead by example with a positive, professional attitude.Dependable presence with the ability to work independently and assist others.Adaptable to changing priorities and warehouse demands.Motivated to support a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.Key SkillsStrong communication skills in English, written and verbal.Proficient in warehouse systems, handheld scanners, and material handling equipment.Skilled in receiving, inventory processes, and PIT equipment operation.Must be willing to accept new duties as business needs and the role evolveExperience & EducationOne to three years of previous delivery and or warehouse experienceHigh School diploma or GED.Successfully complete company offered safe defensive driving courseMust possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, car insurance and vehicle registration.Perform duties while compliant with state and federal regulations including those related to the operation of vehicles and cell phone usage.Provide clean drivers abstractPass company physical and drug screenMay be required to wear company branded shirt, jacket, sweatshirt or other clothingEmployed with Ethos for no less than (90) days having demonstrated reliability and high level of performanceEmployee in very good standing with respect to all company policy and work performanceAbility to flex schedule to support customer demands (may include occasional OT and/or weekend work)Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, reach, and climb a ladder for most of the shift to perform job duties accurately.Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and must be able to perform computer work from a standing position.
