Crosby A.I., backed by top investors like Sequoia Capital and Bain Capital Ventures, is a groundbreaking legaltech startup building both an agentic AI tool to assist with contract automation, as well as the law firm that uses those tools. Instead of selling our proprietary technology to other firms we are competing with them by providing fast, efficient contract negotiation to high growth companies with lean legal teams. The entire process at Crosby is overseen by elite in-house lawyers ensuring quality and efficiency.After a $20 million series A funding round and methodical growth in attorney headcount, we are now seeking our Legal Recruiter #2. This is a unique opportunity to help build an early stage company with excellent product market fit, at a key inflection point. You'll have a significant impact in taking us to the next level.The core of this job is:Recruiting elite technology transactional attorneys directly from BigLaw and from in-house legal departments across the country.Scheduling and coordinating interviews (administrative), interview prep calls, greeting candidates as they arrive for onsite interviews.Maintaining and updating our internal recruiter CRM (administrative).While the core of this job will be direct recruiting, you may on occasion be managing relationships with external agencies.The requirements are:Consultative approach to recruiting that helps build relationships. Act as a brand ambassador for Crosby. You should have a genuine interest in the underlying business and in helping people to find the right fit.Commission/agency experience with a focus on volume, speed, and winning in a competitive environment. This is a high volume, high touch situation that will require a lot of recruiter activity. Must be absolutely fluent on the phone. Although we will train, support and guide you, you should be an expert in the legal market, law firms, and which attorney profiles are potentially appropriate for this type of commercial counsel, SaaS heavy, tech transactional role.We want to create the best working environment possible for a great professional. Ideally you'd be running your own desk, in charge of your own schedule, etc.Ideal candidates can work out of our new office in Soho NYC.
