AV Technician - Level 2
Job DescriptionThe AV Technician II (AVT2) installs a diverse variety of audio-visual equipment per detailed plans to deliver a working and integrated system. The AVT2 must be able to efficiently plan physical installation and work with others to achieve system completion. The AVT2 will have a high technical aptitude and energy to work in fast-paced construction environments.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesReviewing, highlighting, adhering to, and redlining changes on project shop drawingsMaintain and track your own as well as company tools for installationDocumenting all serial numbers of equipment installed by CCSActing as the onsite liaison between the client, CCS, and other tradesDaily reporting and communication with the PM, must submit daily reports each and every dayCompleting company quality control checklists prior to job completion and submit to PMManage project inventory and consumable hardware required to complete the projectMaintain a neat and orderly job site at all times, cleaning up as you go, every dayTurn on, setup, align, and / or test all equipment install the extend possibleFacilitate the commissioning process with Engineers, PM’s, and ProgrammersTroubleshoot audio visual system wiring and componentsConduct autonomous service calls upon requestSkills And AbilitiesExcellent time management skillsExcellent audio-visual troubleshooting skillsFriendly, flexible, and approachable communicatorAbility to pass govt. and civilian background checksStrong attention to detailMust possess a valid driver’s license with safe driving recordMust have completed Tech Level II training or equivalent (see attached)Must be proficient in basic computer setup and networking skills (i.e.: setting IP Addresses)Mounting and construction of all-thread and uni-strut structures (preferred)Education And/or Experience3+ years’ experience in the commercial audio-visual filed installation, or similar experienceCertified Technology Specialist designation (preferred)Company DescriptionCCS Southeast is a wholly owned audio-visual system integrator with over 20 years of experience designing, installing and supporting customers throughout the Southeast and United States.
