Job Purpose The purpose of the Operating Partner position is to manage the KMG restaurant operations assigned toward total guest satisfaction, sales growth, efficiency, and maximum profitability. The OP oversees all restaurant operation in the assigned location. Key Responsibilities Provides input and recommendations to the ADO in preparing an annual forecast and business plan for the restaurant. Monitors store performance compared to plans, taking action and making adjustments. Prepares, recommends, and implements Local Store Marketing programs and evaluates marketing effectiveness. Analyzes key financial measures such as Cost of Sales, Labor Cost, and store‑controllable factors to correct variances. Ensures compliance with cash control and security procedures and maintains product inventories. Maintains high quality standards within budgeted expense objectives. Recruits, hires, trains, and promotes qualified team members and ensures adequate staffing levels. Develops, coaches, and disciplines direct reports to achieve performance goals while maintaining operational excellence and brand requirements. Cultivates and maintains KMG’s desired culture at all staff levels. Conducts regular performance reviews for all management staff supervised. Motivates and supports those supervised to reach business objectives and improves team satisfaction. Creates and updates personnel files in compliance with regulations. Ensures consistent guest satisfaction ratings, including speed, above Freddy’s national average. Responds to guest concerns promptly and resolves issues. Adheres to all operational, safety, and health regulations. Planned and implements all required training and Limited Time Offer programs. Maintains professional knowledge by attending KMG management meetings. Conducts weekly physical inventory counts and enters accurate data. Ensures deposits are processed per bank policy and products are stored properly. Reports payroll and completes accurate paperwork on schedule. Maintains a clean facility and operational equipment to standards. Requirements 3-5 years of restaurant management or related experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong guest service skills and relationship building. Ability to read and interpret sales analysis, COGS, P&L, invoices, procedure manuals, and job instructions. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and proportions. Common sense and ability to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Effective time‑management and prioritization skills. Flexible to work a schedule that includes mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Computer proficiency, including store operating system. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Successful background check per KMG standards. Availability for morning, day, and evening shifts, including weekends. Minimum availability of 50 hours per week or as required by management. Non‑expired driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Current food service certificates as required by state law and KMG procedures. Manager certification per KMG procedures.
