We hold several patents and make it a practice to listen closely to the needs of the customer.Job SummaryThe candidate in this position is responsible for coordinating activities to move product throughout the warehouse and within the company's computer software systems. The Material Handler is also responsible for ensuring that accuracy, quality, and efficiency is achieved.Responsibilities:Load and unload trucks in staging areas as required, weigh LTL shipments, and stage large ordersStage raw material for production and ensure continuous replenishmentEnsure all inventory movement is accurately recorded in company systemOrganize stock bins and replenish shelves to ensure accuracy and efficiency for order pickersAssist order pickers by putting away large items received and pulling stock down from upper rackingMaintain fork trucks, pallet jackets, or industrial trucks, including conducting and recording daily inspectionFollow all company policies, complete all safety training required, report any unsafe work practices and concernsAssist team members with projects or tasks assigned by managerEducation & Experience:In possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)2-5 years' experience driving a forklift (preferred)Experience in packaging and shipping, and using weight tools and equipment (preferred)Required Skills & Abilities:Familiar with computer software programsAttention to detailOrganizedWorks well with deadlinesGood math and analytical skillsAdapts well to changeWork in close quarters with others – ability to be a team playerDesire for clean and safe work environmentSafety Requirements:Employee will be required to wear the provided PPE per the role requirementsFollow site safety and any department specific protocolsReport safety hazards or potential safety hazards to reporting SupervisorAttend company safety meetingsPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 40 lbs oftenAbility to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to walk the warehouse floor on a regular basisOwn ASTM-approved steel-toed shoes to be worn at all timesPerks:Paid Time Off and Holiday PayHealth, Dental, Vision, Life and AD&D, and Voluntary insurance coverages401(k) program and company matchWellness program$500 referral bonusTECTRAN is an equal opportunity employer.
