Bench Technician

Job Summary: Perform bench-type processes to repair mechanical and electrical machinery, using hand-tools, electronic test equipment, service manuals, and pneumatic tooling. Responsibilities: Communicate with management regarding scheduling and motor shop issues, as well as giving feedback Repair and rebuild electric motors and small machinery Evaluate/inspect/diagnose pumps, motors, and other electrical machinery Disassemble scrap motors, tools, etc. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Understand and complete proper documentation, test procedures and timekeeping. Performs other related duties as required. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Strong electrical & mechanical aptitude, maintenance, machinery repair background Ability to lift 50 pounds often Bending, twisting, reaching, etc. Preferred Qualifications:Good communication skills and work ethic.
