Preconstruction Coordinator
About the JobCommand Construction is looking for a motivated Preconstruction Coordinator to join our team in Searcy, Arkansas.This role will work directly with our Preconstruction Manager and estimating team to support the front end of commercial construction. The Preconstruction Coordinator will help track bid opportunities, organize plans and documents, support proposal preparation, assist with estimating coordination, and help keep the team on schedule during the bidding process.This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to learn how construction projects are found, reviewed, priced, pursued, and handed off to operations. As this person develops, the role can lead into a future position in project management, estimating, or business development.Preconstruction is where projects begin. The right person will be organized, dependable, comfortable with deadlines, and interested in learning how the construction business works before a job ever starts.Our work includes commercial concrete, structural concrete, tilt-up, flatwork, site concrete, and other concrete scopes across Arkansas.What You’ll DoSupport the Preconstruction Manager with bidding and estimating effortsTrack bid invitations, due dates, addenda, and project opportunitiesOrganize plans, specifications, bid documents, revisions, and proposal filesAssist with plan room downloads, GC portals, and document managementHelp prepare proposals, scopes of work, inclusions, exclusions, and clarificationsFollow up with general contractors, vendors, and suppliers as neededHelp maintain bid calendars and project opportunity trackingTrack bid results, awarded work, lost bids, and follow-up itemsSupport the handoff from preconstruction to operations after awardWhat We’re Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is organized, curious, and dependable.
