GLO is reimagining sightseeing for the age of immersive tech. We create interactive gaming tours that transform real city streets into playful, story-rich experiences using cutting-edge augmented reality (AR) technology. Our tours are social, creative, and designed to make people feel like they've stepped inside the city rather than just walked through it.We're building something new at the intersection of entertainment, culture, and technology, and we're looking for tour operators who want to help define what immersive tourism can be.Immersive Experience ManagerAs an Immersive Experience Manager, you'll operate at the center of the experience. You'll guide immersive tours while also managing the behind-the-scenes systems that keep everything running smoothly.Operations & Coordination (Primary Responsibility)Own day-to-day tour execution, ensuring tours are staffed, equipped, and running on timeManage schedules and guide coverageOversee and support tour guides, including coaching and performance feedbackOwn AR equipment readiness and lifecycle (inventory, maintenance, charging, storage)Ensure consistent execution standards across all toursImprove processes, systems, and SOPs as the company growsAssist with hiring, onboarding, and training new guidesAct as the communication bridge between leadership and on-the-ground staffGuest Experience (Quality Oversight)Lead tours (up to 8 participants, 45–60 minutes) as needed for training, quality control, and coverageEnsure a consistently high-quality, engaging, and safe guest experience across all toursOversee guest check-in, onboarding with AR headsets, and gameplay flowMonitor pacing, group movement, and participant awareness in outdoor environmentsTroubleshoot or ensure resolution of device, connectivity, and gameplay issuesRepresent GLO professionally in public-facing settingsRequirementsExperience managing people, logistics, or live operationsStrong ownership mindset and ability to make decisions in a fast-moving environmentConfident communicator with strong interpersonal skillsHighly reliable, organized, and detail-orientedComfortable working outdoors and on your feet when neededAvailable evenings and weekendsComfortable in an early-stage, evolving environmentInterest in immersive experiences, games, or live eventsEligible to work in the U.S.NYC sightseeing guide license (or willingness to obtain with company support)Preferred ExperienceExperience managing teams, schedules, or operations (events, hospitality, tours, etc.)Familiarity with AR, VR, or other interactive techPassion for cities, street culture, art, or creative playStartup or early-stage company experienceCompensationAnnual base salary range: $65,000 – $85,000, depending on experience and scope of responsibilitiesComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offJ-18808-Ljbffr
