You will also work in the surrounding Charlotte area.Fair pay: You will earn $15 – $18 per hourReasonable hours: You will work full-time on the night shift, usually 12 hours from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. Some weekends are required.Benefits:Health, dental, life, and vision insuranceShort‐ and long‐term disabilityPaid Time Off401(k)Employee assistance programWHAT YOU'LL DO DAILY:As a night-shift Caregiver, you will spend your nights helping adults with brain injuries in our homes, Puddin's Place and Hart Cottage. You will help with daily tasks like getting ready for bed, moving around, and taking medicine. You will drive residents to activities, keep records of the care you give, and make sure everyone is safe. You will follow care plans, check on how residents are doing, and work with the rest of the team to keep things running smoothly. Every day, your care and kindness will make a big difference in someone's life.What We Need From You:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 21 years oldKnowledge of basic human needs and health and safety proceduresValid driver's license with 4+ years of driving experience, car insurance, and a clean driving recordWillingness to complete CPR and First Aid certification, alternatives to interventions training, and employee training within 30 days of employmentAbility to drive a 12-passenger vanAbility to lift and transfer clientsStrong communication skills, flexibility, and an open mindCompassion for helping othersPreferred:Experience with caregiving for individuals with disabilitiesSome knowledge of brain injuriesOUR MISSION:Hinds' Feet Farm believes that everyone deserves dignity, purpose, and real connection after a brain injury.
