Our strong, diversified presence enables us to offer consumers and clients perfectly suited solutions, for any occasion and time of day.Job OverviewThe Maintenance Technician II at Lavazza ensures the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of processing and packaging equipment in the factory. This role involves proactive and reactive maintenance to uphold manufacturing standards, including upkeep of production and support equipment such as roasters, grinders, packaging machinery, air compressors, and chiller systems. Additionally, responsibilities extend to supporting continuous improvement initiatives and installing new systems.This position is based onsite in our West Chester, PA office.Job Responsibilities Analyze condition, troubleshoot failures, perform equipment repairs using standard procedures.Perform problem solving and resolution of machine issues or reliability improvements.Maintain machine standards of operation in accordance with baseline hardware and software installation / measurements / equipment standard setup manual.Execute corrective, predictive, and preventative maintenance procedures to ensure a high level of machine utilization (OEE) and low scrap level.Perform the equipment setup and change-over process.Assist with continuous improvement of equipment / process safety, operation, and efficiency.Support new system installations, R&D and engineering projects.Train and mentor Technician I and Operators on team and across teams.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Maintenance shop.Ensure the health and safety of personnel and care of the property, equipment, and product under their control.Assist with Technician III duties when required.Partner with other technicians on shift and cross shifts to continually complete objectives.Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.Job Qualifications2-year technical degree or equivalent experience4+ years equipment maintenance experienceKnowledge in mechanical & electrical (motor circuits, VFDs, Servos, PLCs, single / three phase electrical systems) troubleshooting and repair of automated equipmentExperience in reading, understanding, and interpreting blueprints, schematics and equipment documentationKnowledge of hand and power tool application, operation and useKnowledge of the high speed packaging line, roasting and grinding processing equipment (Preferred)Experience in machining, welding & fabrication (Preferred)Benefits / Perks Competitive Medical, Vision, Dental Benefits401K PackageEmployee Assistance ProgramHybrid Work ScheduleAbility to be barista certifiedTuition ReimbursementPerformance Development PlansEmployee DiscountsSummer Friday's (Memorial Day Weekend – Labor Day Weekend)Flexible business casual dress code - jean friendly!Free coffee, anytime!Lavazza is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.Lavazza prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type and affords equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.(10pm-6:30am)40 hours/week
