Winding - Utility Technician (2nd Shift)
The Winding Utility Technician is responsible for supporting the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Uses machinery and equipment on the shop floor. Reads and interprets the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels. The work model for the role is: Onsite. You will be mainly accountable for:Operate BWS and other winding equipment across multiple positions; ensure proper setup, safe operation, and provide cross-functional coverage to maintain uptime. Balance work cell flow, monitor WIP, prioritize jobs, and track output, downtime, and scrap to meet production goals and maintain continuous operations. Lead/assist with changeovers, verify first-piece quality, troubleshoot common machine issues, and perform basic preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
