Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Supervisor

Summary of Position: Devoted Education Solutions LLC (DES) is seeking a highly motivated and passionate part-time licensed Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide supervisory support within the school setting. Duties and Responsibilities: · Supervision of 3 registered speech-language pathology assistants servicing the school setting · Review student records, monitor and evaluate treatment decisions of the assistant · Evaluate and oversee the ability of the assistant to provide speech and language therapy/evaluations for language, auditory processing disorder, articulation, and voice fluency · Write progress notes that align with data collection from the SLPA and direct observations/interactions with the student · Provide guidance in the development of a plan for the SLPA to complete 90 hours of clinical supervision. Minimum Requirements: · A Master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university with specialization in speech pathology, communication disorders, or a related field -and- Two (2) years of speech-language pathology experience in a clinic or educational institution as a state licensed speech-language pathologist · A current, active, and unrestricted SpeechLanguage Pathology license issued by the Board, or (if employed by a public school) a valid, active, and unrestricted credential authorizing services in language, speech, and hearing issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing, and have at least two years of full-time experience providing services as a licensed or credentialed speech-language pathologist. · Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) · DOJ Background Check · TB test results required · Proof of COVID 19 vaccination Pay/hours: Job Type: Part-time, Independent Contract Hours: 5-10 hours per week Pay: $85 per hour Right to Revise: This job description is not meant to be all-inclusive, and the DES reserves the right to revise this job description as necessary without advance notice.
