Sr. Embedded Systems EngineerWe are looking for a Sr. Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team onsite in Sunnyvale, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to work on state of the art new technology on a 12+ month contract basis.In order to be considered, you must have 8+ years of professional experience a Bachelor's Degree and the following:Must have experience in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, design code for efficiency, and target different platforms such as GPU, Cloud...etc.Must have experience and solid understanding of image formation, image capturing and image processing pipeline and techniquesMust have experience in Imaging Science, Image Processing, Computer Vision, or related fields, image quality testing of camera systems and familiar with image quality metrics and analysis in the camera pipelineMust have true understanding of subjective and objective image quality evaluation metric and testing proceduresKnowledge of image formation process (spectrum, optics/aberrations, PSF, sensor noise, Fourier theory, sampling/aliasing) needed to successfully model and simulate complex imaging phenomenaHands on experience in the development of lab setups for camera system performance studyExperiences in camera calibration and modeling of imaging systemsHands on experience with image sensor, imaging optics, and image processing algorithmsPrevious experience debugging issues and finding root-cause of the problem.Extensive experience designing and developing Embedded systems / IoT productsShould be able to work independently as individual contributorAbility to work with minimal direction and managing a project independently from start to finish
