Link is quality and compliance-focused, under our guiding philosophy, “Mission First, Customer Always".We are certified in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 20000-1:2018, and ISO 27001:2022; CMMC Level 2 certified; and appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 3 for Services and Development.Job DescriptionLink Solutions is seeking a Deputy Program Manager / Senior Solutions Architect to support the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) Information Technology Modernization and Support Services program in Adelphi, MD.U.S. Citizen with an active secret clearancePMP Certification requiredNon-Remote / On-site only (Relocation assistance available)This position supports the Program Manager and Government leadership by providing senior-level technical leadership across enterprise IT operations, infrastructure modernization, cloud and hybrid environments, cybersecurity, networking, ServiceNow, endpoint management, automation, and research computing initiatives supporting ARL’s mission environment.The ideal candidate is a senior enterprise technologist and solutions architect with strong operational experience in large-scale enterprise IT environments and the ability to support modernization initiatives while maintaining operational stability across classified and unclassified environments.Job Responsibilities:Support the Program Manager and Government stakeholders in the execution of enterprise IT modernization and operational support initiatives.Lead technical modernization efforts involving enterprise infrastructure, networking, cloud integration, virtualization, automation, endpoint management, and cybersecurity.Support modernization of ARL’s hybrid infrastructure and software-defined technologies, including cloud, hyperconverged infrastructure, containerization, and Zero Trust initiatives.Support integration of automation technologies into enterprise operations to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, infrastructure management, monitoring, and workflow execution.Support implementation and operational integration of automation and orchestration capabilities, including scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated provisioning, monitoring, patching, and ServiceNow workflows.Provide technical leadership and coordination across infrastructure, systems engineering, networking, cybersecurity, ServiceNow, and operational support teams.Support modernization and operational initiatives across classified and unclassified research environments while maintaining mission continuity and operational performance.Partner with ARL stakeholders to improve researcher experience, reduce IT burden, and support evolving research computing requirements.Support planning, engineering, and implementation efforts for infrastructure modernization, technical refreshes, automation initiatives, and enterprise architecture improvements.Support integration of cybersecurity requirements into operational and modernization activities, including RMF, Continuous ATO, vulnerability management, and STIG compliance.Lead technical assessments, engineering analysis, and solution recommendations aligned with ARL modernization objectives.Support development of technical roadmaps, engineering standards, lifecycle planning, and operational process improvements.Participate in technical working groups, architecture discussions, change management activities, and project planning sessions.Identify technical risks and support the development of mitigation strategies.Support the Program Manager in technical staffing coordination, workload planning, and engagement with Government technical leadershipPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
