Automotive Office Manager / Assistant Controller
Job Description
Office ManagerWork with office staff to ensure timely completion of their assigned task.Ensure all accounting records are always maintained in an orderly current & accurate conditionOversee floorplan audits and floorplan paymentsTrack all factory payments IE warranty receivable, incentive, parts & service accounts.Assist office staff with billing and compliance checksAssist Controller and CFO with various month end tasks/reconciliationsAssist in overseeing the financial and accounting system for our dealershipsReviewing financial statements, ledgers, and working with the accounting staff to clear up any discrepancies.Qualifications:Two years of experience in an Automotive Office Manager positionSolid working knowledge of Automotive accounting office functions, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial statements, and collectionsWorking knowledge of dealership financial statements and dealership operations Reynolds and Reynolds and or CDK experience requiredSkillsKnowledge of Automotive bookkeeping proceduresFamiliarity with finance regulationsGood math skills and the ability to spot numerical errorsHands on experience with MS, Excell, and accounting softwareOrganization skills, proactive and detail orientatedAbility to handle sensitive, confidential informationStrong computer skills Self-starterExcellent communication skillsAble to multi-task in a feast paces environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracyComplete tasks with minimal supervisionPossesses creative problem-solving skillsSalary will be based on Automotive experience
