🚨 URGENT HIRING – Embedded Developer 🚨📍 Location: Englewood, CO🏢 Work Model: Onsite💼 Experience: 10+ Years of strong hands-on experience🔴 IMPORTANT – WORK AUTHORIZATION:We are looking for candidates who can work directly on our company W2.❌ No C2C / 1099 profiles accepted.✅ Candidates who are currently on H-1B or another transferable status and are willing to transfer their visa and work on our company W2 are welcome to apply.🔑 Top SkillsEmbedded C, Linux & Operating Systems – 10+ yearsWiFi Standards & Networking – 10+ yearsStrong Debugging & Problem-Solving – 10+ years📌 Key Responsibilities• Develop and debug embedded C software for Linux-based residential gateway platforms.• Develop and maintain WiFi radio configurations across Qualcomm, Broadcom, and Atheros chipsets covering 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz.• Work on WiFi features including Band Steering, Client Steering, DFS, BSS Coloring, OFDMA, MU-MIMO, TWT, and MLO/WiFi 7.• Work with hostapd, wpa_supplicant, CFG80211, mac80211, and nl80211 interfaces.• Develop and maintain OpenSync WiFi managers and cloud-managed configurations.• Debug WiFi driver crashes, firmware asserts, kernel panics, memory leaks, and performance issues.• Develop and optimize mesh/extender backhaul and throughput/RvR performance.• Implement cellular backup / phone-as-backhaul functionality and WAN failover/failback logic.• Work with USB tethering, RNDIS, CDC-NCM, CDC-ECM, routing, traffic steering, and QoS.• Develop OpenSync managers and event-driven daemons interacting with OVSDB.• Implement secure communication using TLS/mTLS.• Work with OpenWrt, UCI configuration, init scripts, and persistent storage.• Analyze field issues using device logs, crash dumps, logpull analysis, and remote diagnostics.• Write unit tests and participate in GitLab code reviews.• Collaborate with hardware, QA, cloud, mobile, and service-provider teams.⭐ Preferred / Advantageous Experience• WiFi routers, cable modems, CMTS, or other networking devices• OpenSync, OpenWrt, RDK-B• Qualcomm / Broadcom / Atheros chipsets• High-level understanding of 5G/LTE• Residential gateway / broadband networking experience• WiFi 6 / WiFi 7 technologies
