Diecast Machine Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Lead Engineer with CAD design of die cast tooling, fixtures, and machine componentsSupport procurement activities, including sourcing components, preparing technical specifications, and coordinating with vendors and suppliersAssist with machine and process programming, including parameter setup, optimization, and documentationAid in electrical design, implementation, and troubleshooting of machines and cellsParticipate in die casting process improvement efforts to enhance quality, efficiency, and cycle timesSupport installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of die cast machines and auxiliary equipmentCollaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve technical issuesMaintain engineering documentation, drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and revision controlSupport continuous improvement, cost reduction, and safety initiativesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Basic to intermediate experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)Understanding of die casting processes, machine operation, or metal manufacturing is preferredFamiliarity with procurement processes and vendor coordination is a plusEntry-level to mid-level experience; recent graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to applyPreferred SkillsExperience with die cast machine programming or process setupKnowledge of aluminum, zinc, or magnesium die castingAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsGood communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environmentComfortable working in a manufacturing floor environmentWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation based on experienceOpportunities for professional growth and mentorship under an experienced Lead EngineerExposure to full-cycle engineering: design, procurement, programming, and productionSupportive, collaborative work environment
