And we are One Driving ForceTM.Plasman ,is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as:ROBOTIC TECHNICIAN (Secondary Equipment)Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with good communication and organizational skills and would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:Assist Launch Engineer in developing / updating secondary equipment sourcing standardsProvide lessons learned input in writing RFQs for new equipmentAbility to independently oversee equipment design in absence of Launch EngineerExpected to maintain equipment open issues list during equipment design / build stage and communicate concerns to Engineering Manager.Should be confident to communicate with integrator to resolve open issuesAttend and provide feedback on equipment run offs at integratorWork closely with integrator and lead equipment install on site, ensuring compliance to company policies and protocolsGet trained on the new / existing equipment and provide training to key stake holdersRequired to independently setup / troubleshoot new / in production stand alone de-gators or Robotic de-gatingRequired to assist setup of new Robot cells / secondary equipment and independently troubleshoot new / in production equipmentSet-up end of arm tooling on robotsExpected to have knowledge of 6 Axis RobotsExperience in injection molding plant is an assetAssist Launch Engineers for tryouts or as required.Write training instructions / procedures for floor personnelWrite work instructions / Enter PM check list for secondary equipmentWill be required to operate overhead crane in a safe mannerPerform other duties as requiredWork closely with Maintenance during installs, equipment troubleshooting and PM of Robots / secondary equipmentEnsure all Health and Safety and Process procedures are followed within departmentFollow all Organization codes, values, policies, practices, procedures and instructions in the area of quality, environmental health & safety, security and business operations.Recommend and participate in Continuous Improvement activities.Always promote atmosphere of teamwork.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating Systems and all health and safety and environmental legislation.Completion of any other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.Abide by Company Value Statement and the Company Standard Code of ConductEducation & Experience Requirements:3 years Post-Secondary Education from a Mechatronics / Robotics ProgramMinimum 1 year work experience in a related capacityMust have proficiency with MS Office programsPLC Programming ExperienceRobot ProgrammingOther Requirements:Must have exceptional communication skills, verbal, writtenThe qualified individual will possess an excellent working knowledge of our products and processes.Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment with good attention to detail.Ability to work effectively with other people in addition to working well in unsupervised situations.Able to work overtime as neededPlasman is committed to offering a wide range of prospects to our employees, including competitive salaries, full-time permanent positions, benefits, company savings plans, recognition awards, hands-on training, upward mobility, tuition reimbursement, and more.Plasman values and supports the unique talents and strengths that each employee brings to our organization.
