We are seeking dynamic professionals who embody our core values of Integrity, Commitment, and Excellence to join our growing Crew in support of our customers across the federal, state, and commercial markets.We are seeking a Data Architect to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.What You'll Be DoingDesign, deploy, and manage an organization's data architecture to ensure it supports strategic mission goals and visionCreate a supporting vision and blueprint for data management systems, from initial design to long-term maintenance of the data environmentDevelop an overall short term (next 2 years) and long term (5-7 year) organizational data strategy aligned with business or mission processes and strategic mission goalsDesign conceptual, logical, and physical data models to guide data structure and flowCoordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technical functionality and ensure data accessibilityImplement and audit security measures to protect data integrity and ensure compliance with governance policiesPlan and execute large-scale data solutionsManage the end-to-end data lifecycle, from platform selection to testing and implementationWhat You BringBasic Requirements:Must have 10, or more, years of general (full-time) work experienceMay be reduced with completion of advanced educationMust have 5, or more, years of directly related experienceMust have 1, or more, years of experience working in a management or leadership roleMust be proficient in SQL development, database administration, and both RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) or equivalentMust have a mastery of visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau or equivalent to present complex data insightsMust have strong coding skills for automation and data manipulation like Python, Java, C/C++, Perl or equivalentMust have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudMust have an understanding of Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and predictive modelingMust be familiar with MBSE and incorporating AI into legacy systems to streamline data outputMust have an active DoD Secret Security ClearanceDesired Requirements:Have a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certificationHave 1, or more, Cloud-Specific Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Data EngineerHave a Cloudera Certified Professional (CCP) Data Engineer certificationBe an Oracle Database PL/SQL Developer Certified ProfessionalWhy LaunchTech?LaunchTech is built on a single standard: Excellence, Period.
