Click Apply Now to join the Chamberlain experience!What You Will Be Accountable ForPerform daily liquidity and credit stress testing to assess the clearinghouse’s ability to withstand member defaults and market disruptionsAnalyze large, complex datasets to evaluate market, credit, and counterparty risk exposuresMaintain, enhance, and validate risk models using quantitative techniques and programming toolsMonitor market conditions, including rates, Treasuries, and repo activity, to identify emerging risks and vulnerabilitiesPartner with market risk, financial surveillance, and clearing operations teams to communicate findings and escalate material exposuresSupport regulatory reporting and ad hoc inquiries, ensuring alignment with internal governance and external requirementsContribute to the development of risk reporting for governance committees, providing clear and actionable insightsApply a strong understanding of clearinghouse operations and rule frameworks to risk analysis and decision-makingAct as a first line of defense, identifying anomalies, validating assumptions, and recommending risk mitigation strategiesWhat Qualifications You NeedBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field2–5+ years of experience in financial risk analysis, ideally within capital markets or clearing environmentsStrong understanding of:Liquidity risk, credit risk, and market riskClearinghouse / CCP operationsCapital markets instruments (Treasuries, repo, derivatives, futures)Advanced technical skills, including:SQL (data extraction, joins, large dataset analysis)Excel (advanced modeling, data manipulation)Experience working with large financial datasets and performing quantitative analysisStrong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to present risk findings clearlyPreferred Qualifications:Programming experience in Python and/or R for modeling and analyticsHands-on experience with Bloomberg Terminal (or similar tools such as Refinitiv or FactSet)Experience with credit stress testing and liquidity modeling frameworksExposure to regulatory environments and risk governance practicesPrior experience supporting a clearinghouse, exchange, bank, or hedge fundAbout the Client: Mixing powerful thinking and cutting-edge technology, our client is where the world comes to manage risk.
