This critical role’s focus is to contact and develop relationships with potential agents while at the same time evaluating whether their business model aligns with Openly’s value proposition and seamlessly transition the agency through the Openly appointment process.Watch what our Independent Agent Partners have to say about working with Openly in this testimonial video. Opportunities to join a team like this don’t come up often, so if this sounds right up your alley, then keep reading and join our ever-growing team!Key ResponsibilitiesReceive inbound leads and initiate the agency appointment process by triaging the agency against Openly’s appointment processSupplement the pipeline of agency appointments with outbound calls and email campaignsCultivate relationships with the potential agency partners by providing an overview of Openly and understanding how Openly can fit into their business modelBe able to do discovery and attain key metrics about agency and their businessBuild trust with agents by ensuring a seamless transition through the agency appointment process by adhering to Openly’s standard processes and setting expectations with the agentsSet up meetings between prospective agencies and the Openly business development associates (BDAs)Ensure meetings are held between prospective agents and BDAsManage and maintain strong data integrity and data hygiene in our CRM across leads, opportunities, and accountsLeverage data from opportunities in the pipeline to forecast monthly and quarterly results Provide weekly updates to the team regarding territory goals and objectivesRequirements1+ years of outstanding sales performance with an ability to drive results and innovate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment1 or more years of experience in P&C insurance industry preferred Experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calling and email campaignsConsistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales targetsPassion for helping partner agenciesStrong organizational, negotiation, and value-based selling skillsA customer-centric mindset with the ability to quickly establish trust and credibilityInsurance product knowledge and the ability to gather additional knowledge rapidlyProficiency with Microsoft and Google products along with experience working with a CRM Willingness to travel up to 10% of the timeProperty & casualty insurance producer license, or the ability to get one within the first four weeks of employmentCompensation & Benefits:Below is the budgeted salary range for this position. Actual compensation for this position will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience and skills. We are committed to providing a compensation package that not only reflects the responsibilities and requirements of the role, but also the unique expertise that the chosen candidate will bring to our team.Budgeted Salary Range$54,960—$60,000 USDThe full salary range shows the min to max salary range for this position.
