Details Position is on a hospital general surgery/trauma unit Night shift schedule, 7:00 pm to 7:30 am Patient population includes general surgery and trauma cases Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required No blocked scheduling is permitted Travelers are not permitted to work in pairs Requirements Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med-Surg or relevant specialty is required Current certifications from AHA or RQI are required Epic EMR experience is required No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Flu vaccination required, with only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional accepted US Social Security Number required for consideration; Canadian SIN is not accepted Additional Information Competency testing required for applicants with less than 2 years of Med-Surg experience, with two attempts allowed More than three call outs in a 13-week contract will result in contract termination, and makeup shifts must be completed within six weeks RTO (requested time off) must be submitted with the application Local candidates residing in specified counties within a 50 mile radius are not eligible Travelers may only submit to one position at a time American Traveler Job ID P-662200.
