Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Dublin, Ohio
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialty retail pharmacy seeks experienced pharmacists to provide expert medication management for patients with complex health needs. This role focuses on delivering compassionate care and thorough consultation for individuals often managing 8-15 medications daily, emphasizing quality patient engagement over volume.
Responsibilities:
Dispense and review medications accurately using Pioneer Rx software.
Provide in-depth consultation and education to patients with chronic, advanced disease states such as diabetes, hypertension, and multiple sclerosis.
Manage medication therapies with a focus on improving patient outcomes.
Communicate effectively with patients who may have low literacy levels, demonstrating patience and empathy.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Desired Experience:
Strong retail pharmacy background with specialty pharmacy experience highly preferred.
Proficiency in managing complex medication regimens and consulting on chronic diseases.
Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid populations and understanding of low-income patient challenges.
Experience using Pioneer Rx software is a significant advantage.
Ability to exercise compassion and outstanding communication skills.
Location:
Dublin, OH, with scheduled shifts primarily Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Training days included on specified dates.

This is a per diem role that requires dedication to patient care and strong clinical judgment in a specialty setting. Candidates should have an active Ohio pharmacist license.
